the fold icons

After a series of escapes from a Tasmanian apple farm, a big law firm and a major financial institution, Claire thinks she’s finally found her calling.

We think so too – in fact, Claire embodies everything The Fold stands for. She’s passionate about simplifying complexity and making legal solutions affordable and available to financial services businesses of all sizes. As one of her long-standing clients puts it, “I always enjoyed working together as you were one of the few lawyers who had the guts to call it as it is.” And her level of enthusiasm for what she does is infectious.

Our vocabulaic regulatory guru, Claire is guaranteed to find different and elegant answers to old problems. Disregarding norms is a specialty. She’s prodigiously productive – it’s exhausting to watch.

Claire is a long standing member of the Business Advisory Committee to ASIC's Licensing Division and was recently appointed to the Treasurer's FinTech Advisory Group. She is also a prolific author, commentator and presenter on regulatory and legal issues. Claire gets really excited about working with fintech startups and anyone with an innovative approach to financial services distribution. She's also the person to call when ASIC comes knocking.

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.
